Fairfield and Pekin are coming together for a special cause during Fairfield’s annual Everybody vs. Cancer event on Thursday, January 15th, when the basketball teams square off against Pekin.
One of the primary ways the event raises money to donate to the American Cancer Society is by selling special event t-shirts. This year, the two Jefferson County teams are coordinating their efforts, with Fairfield fans encouraged to purchase the black shirt and Pekin fans the white shirt, creating a powerful visual show of support inside the gym.
Fans who wish to participate must place their t-shirt orders by Tuesday, January 6th. Organizers hope a strong turnout and widespread participation will help raise meaningful funds in the ongoing fight against cancer.
