Larry Wayne Woollums, 82, of Ottumwa, died at 8:20 a.m. December 26, 2025.
He was born June 23, 1943 in Ottumwa to Fred and Virginia Findley Woollums. He married Mary Lou McCoy on April 19, 1965.
A 1961 graduate of Ottumwa High School, he attended Indian Hills Community College.
Larry had worked at HyVee, Lund International, Strawhacker Foods and retired as maintenance manager at Wapello County Courthouse in 2013.
He was a proud member of the Eddy Ridge Boys and the Heartland Boot Scooters. He enjoyed woodworking and could fix just about anything.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Lou; their children, Brad (Jayne) Peck of Ottumwa, Robin (Phil) Dionne of Oxford, MI and Wayne (Heidi) Woollums of Newton; 5 grandchildren, Brittni (Doug) Ummel, Drake Craver, Delaney and Ty Woollums and Glenn (Christina) Olinger; and 2 great grandchildren, Daxton Ummel and Eleanor Olinger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Dirk Peck.
His body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
