Kelly Thompson, Medical Surgical Unit, was selected as Pella Regional Health Center’s Shining Star for her high-performance standards.
Thompson, resident of Pella, was nominated based on attitude, commitment, communication, safety, and ownership.
Excerpt from her nomination:
“Kelly always goes above and beyond to help others while carrying out her duties with exceptional professionalism. Whether Kelly is setting up doctor’s appointments, scheduling discharges, answering the phone, or transferring calls, Kelly does it all with a consistently positive attitude. Whenever I thank Kelly for anything, Kelly simply smiles and says, “Just doing my job.” Kelly is always helpful, and when we bring questions to her, Kelly either has the answer or finds it quickly. May God bless you for many years to come, Kelly. Your dedication and kindness do not go unnoticed.”
Thompson will receive a $100 gift, a plaque, and will automatically be included in the nominations for the Shining Star of the Year award.
