Josh and the team at Meridian Credit Union in Ottumwa, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate Van Buren County Cross Country runner Rylee Phillips, our 101.5 KKSI-FM Athlete of the Week!
The senior finished her cross country season with the best runs in her career. In a Class 1A State Qualifying Meet in Leon, Phillps ran a personal best 21:01.00 to finish in 10th place and qualify for the state meet. Phillips then raised the bar in the Class 1A State Meet in Fort Dodge by finishing with a time of 20:56.5, a new personal record.
