On Friday evening, Republican candidate Randy Feenstra, running for Governor of Iowa in 2026, held a meet and greet at the Vine Coffee Shop in Ottumwa.

During the event, Representative Feenstra highlighted his accomplishments while serving in Congress. He noted his work with former President Donald Trump to deliver what he called the largest tax cut in U.S. history, efforts to ensure men do not participate in women’s sports or use women’s bathrooms, and initiatives to prevent China from purchasing Iowa farmland.

Representative Feenstra emphasized that, if elected Governor, he will continue working with President Trump to advance the America First agenda in Iowa. He pledged to uphold Trump-era tax cuts, protect family budgets, support Iowa’s farming communities, and support Main Street businesses.

Feenstra also pointed to his legislative record, noting accomplishments such as securing the U.S. border, passing “Sarah’s Law” aimed at preventing dangerous illegal immigrants from entering the country, and voting for the “Big Beautiful Bill.”

If elected, Feenstra would succeed Governor Kim Reynolds, who has decided not to seek re-election in 2026.
