WHAT: The spirit and grit of rock music comes to the stage once again in Ottumwa -Cinderella’s Tom Keifer and The Keiferband are live in concert, with special guest, L.A. Guns, at the Bridge View Center.
Keifer remains a resilient, relevant figure in the rock world through constant reimagination and renewal. His story begins as the singer-songwriter, guitarist and front man of hard rock heavyweights Cinderella. His signature voice, guitar and bluesy, arena-shaking songwriting played an integral role in moving records to the tune of 15 million worldwide. Though he possesses all the fire and brimstone of rock’s greatest frontmen, one would be hard pressed to find the versatility and dimension that Keifer brings to a stage. Whether delivering heart-wrenching ballads, such as “Don’t Know What You Got ‘til It’s Gone”, channeling the soul of the bluesmen of the past with his slide guitar and lap steel, or blowing sax on rockers like “Shelter Me”, Keifer is clearly one of the most unique singers and accomplished musicians in rock n’ roll.
