Knoxville City Council will take a look tonight at plans for a new Domino’s Pizza on the city’s west side.
The proposed location is at 711 W. Pleasant Street, where an old self-serve car wash currently sits unused. If approved, the building would be replaced with a Domino’s offering walk-in and drive-thru takeout only—no dine-in seating. The site plan also includes 18 parking spaces for both customers and employees.
The city’s Planning and Zoning Commission already gave the project the green light back on July 29. Now it’s up to the council to decide whether to move it forward.
Council members will also talk about a change order for the Larson Street Pump Station Project during tonight’s meeting, which starts at 6:15 p.m. at City Hall.
