Pella Regional Health Center has been recognized as one of the top hospitals in Iowa when it comes to patient satisfaction. The hospital is featured in Becker’s Hospital Review as one of just 25 facilities in the state that patients are most likely to recommend.
The honor is based on results from the HCAHPS survey, a national tool for measuring patients’ experiences in hospitals. Specifically, the rankings focused on how strongly patients said they would recommend the hospital to family and friends. The survey data was collected between July 2023 and June 2024 and used to determine star ratings for 705 hospitals across the country.
Hospital leaders say the recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of the entire team.
Since opening in 1960, Pella Regional has worked to grow its services and improve access to healthcare in rural Iowa. That effort includes facility upgrades and major projects like the new radiation oncology center currently under construction in partnership with Knoxville Hospital & Clinics.
The hospital’s leadership says continuing to meet the needs of local patients—while keeping care close to home—remains at the heart of their mission.
