Gloria Mazza, a longtime leader in Iowa Republican circles and former chairwoman of the Polk County Republicans, has passed away after a battle with cancer.
Mazza retired from her role earlier this year after four years of service. She also held leadership positions with the Iowa Federation of Republican Women and contributed to national-level committees within the Federation.
Known for her dedication to grassroots organizing and her passion for party involvement, Mazza was remembered by many as a kind and humble leader who made a lasting impact on her community and state.
