Josh and the team at Meridian Credit Union in Ottumwa, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate Ottumwa Track & Field athlete Chase Thompson, our 101.5 KKSI-FM Athlete of the Week!
After suffering a broken ankle nearly three months ago during the basketball season and missing all of the track season, Thompson returned on Senior Night at Schafer Stadium last Tuesday and won the long jump event with a leap of 20 feet, 7.25 inches.
Our KKSI-FM Athlete of the Week feature is made possible thanks to the generosity of Meridian Credit Union and the cooperation of our area schools. This is a great accomplishment and one to be very proud of. Please join us in congratulating Chase Thompson!
