Join the Wapello County Trails Council for our annual spring trail clean-up events!
We’re inviting community members to help keep our trail system clean and beautiful. Come out for one—or both—of our spring clean-up days. All supplies will be provided!
🗓 Event Dates & Locations
- Saturday, April 26 – John Deere Loop
Meet at 9 a.m. in the John Deere parking lot (Vine & Madison). - Saturday, May 3 – Ottumwa Park
Meet at 9 a.m. at the Rotary exercise area (behind the playground).
🧤 Garbage bags and gloves provided
🚶 Be prepared for off-trail walking
🌿 Open to all ages and the public
Can’t make it? You can still help! Trail users are encouraged to bring a bag and pick up litter while walking the trails throughout spring, summer, and fall.
