Iowa-based ag cooperative Landus has announced Matt Carstens has left his position as president and CEO.
In a press release, the company said Landus Board Chairman Matt Chambers took on the role of acting CEO on April 4th. An interim CEO is expected to be named soon.
In a statement, Chambers said Carstens has been a dedicated and forward-thinking leader for Landus.
Carstens’ departure comes just a few months after Landus laid off nearly 10% of its workforce, a move the company said was made to meet the demands of the changing ag retail environment.
