Anthony Lawrence Hall, also known by his friends and loved ones as Tony, was born on April 25, 1989, in Leon, Iowa, USA.
He transitioned from this life on April 23, 2025, and resided in Albia, Iowa for the last three years of his life. Anthony was a man of great passion, dedicating his time and energy to his occupation, hobbies, and most importantly, his family. He was employed as a relief operator at By Heart, where he had been contributing his skills and expertise for the past year. Anthony possessed a zest for life that was expressed through his diverse hobbies. He found solace and joy in fishing with the children in his life, building imaginative worlds through Lego play, and embarking on peaceful car rides while lost in his favorite music. A firm believer in the tactile experience of reading, Anthony found solace in the pages of a good book, often stating “audio books aren’t reading.” He also had a keen interest in the cultivation of Marijuana, which he pursued with great passion. However, the center of Anthony’s universe was undeniably his family.
Anthony was a devoted family man who made his loved ones the core of his existence. He is survived by his fiancé, Markie Miler; children, Raiden, Gabriel, Aurora & Arthur; mother Katherine (Ed) Born; step siblings, Gene Rainer & Otis Rainer. He is preceded in death by Eugene Rainer; maternal grandparents, Marilyn and Roger Oxendale, and great grandparents, Barry and Joan Hall, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Humeston Community Center, 604 Guy Porter St., Humeston, Iowa on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 11 am – 3 pm. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Cambria Cemetery, near Humeston. Memorials may be directed to the family for his children. We invite all who knew Anthony to join us in remembering his life.
