The Ottumwa RAGBRAI 2024 Committee is hosting a special appreciation party on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Hotel Ottumwa. This event will celebrate the success of RAGBRAI’s presence in our community last July, offer an opportunity for community members to celebrate the successful event, and highlight the positive economic impact of the event.
All committee members and residents who volunteered in any capacity during RAGBRAI 2024 are invited to the event. Attendees will enjoy a casual evening of complimentary food and drinks while learning more about the economic impact the 18,000 riders made to the community during their day in Ottumwa. During the event, more than $87,000 in grant money will be presented to five projects by local nonprofits, supporting ongoing efforts that aim to improve the area and enhance the quality of life for all residents.
