After opening 50 years ago, Adventureland Inn will close permanently, according to the resort.
Adventureland announced on its website on Wednesday that its inn will be closed for good. Last November, the resort announced that Adventureland Inn would be closed for the rest of 2024.
Adventureland said the inn will be used for employee housing to expand its workforce. The inn opened in 1973, one year before the amusement park opened.
Adventureland made the following statement on its website:
“At Adventureland, we have continued to provide the best guest experience for our visitors through the addition of new events, new rides and attractions, and on-going park-wide improvements. With our continued focus on guest experience, we have made the decision to close the Adventureland Inn and convert the property into on-site employee housing as we grow our workforce.
“Spectators Sports Bar & Grill remains open seven days a week.”
