Pauline R. Stice, 94, of Ottumwa, died at 2:31 p.m. February 19, 2025 at Good Samaritan Society- Ottumwa.
She was born April 21, 1930 in Ottumwa to Carl and Opal Taylor Rupe. She married Thomas Stice July 21, 1947 and he preceded her in death August 27, 1990.
Pauline had worked at Ottumwa Regional Health Center and St. Joseph Hospital in housekeeping.
She was a member of Zion Community Church.
Pauline enjoyed quilting, sewing, making rugs, baking, flowers and gardening. She loved reading the Bible and she was a very generous person who would do anything for anyone.
Surviving are her children, Dave (Fonda) Stice of Ottumwa, John (Tracy) Stice of Ottumwa, Frank (Tina) Stice of Omaha, NE, Sue (Sonny) Greer of Ottumwa; a stepson, Thomas (Dawne) Lee of Wichita, KS; 12 grandchildren, Jason Frazier, Scott Greer, Sheryl Stull, Carolyn Stice, Jon Piddie, Robert Stice, Jessica Ewing, John Stice Jr., Jeanie Lawson, Tom Stice, Nathan Williams and Kayla Golston; and may great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by daughters, Linda Skinner, Carolyn Roberts; grandsons, Chuckie Frazier, Scott VanWinkle, Chad Stice and Matthew Stice; a step-son, Michael Stice; sisters, Betty Jones, Barbara Lehman and Donna Galloway.
Visitation will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, February 23rd at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 24th, at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor John Mark Henry officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
