Billy L. Meyers, 77, of Ottumwa died at 4:50 a.m. February 12, 2025 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
He was born October 29, 1947 in Keokuk to William and Alvena Mann Meyers. He married Diana Wyrick and they later divorced.
Billy attended Keokuk Junior High School and had worked as a self-employed carpenter.
He enjoyed fishing, turtle hunting and traveling.
Surviving are his children, Michelle (Rob) Wilsey, Rhonda (Tony) Skinner, Jim Meyers and Travis Meyers (Shannon Palmer), all of Keokuk, and Casey (Trevor) Mills of Cedar Rapids; 27 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; a brother, Mike (Debbie) Meyers of Keokuk.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Tina Watts.
His body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
