A Pella couple has been identified as the victims of a accident that occurred near the Texas-Mexico border.
Dale and Evelyn Baarda died from injuries suffered when a SUV collided with their motorcycle on Friday afternoon in McAllen, Texas.
The other driver was arrested for not having a driver’s license to be operating a vehicle
Dale and Evelyn has previously won preservation awards from Pella Preservation Trust.
Dale served as a Pella Police Reserve from 1989 to 2010.
Garden Chapel Funeral Home, Pella, is handling the arrangements, There will be a memorial service at 10 am on Monday, February, 3, 2025 at Trinity Church, Pella.
