A 60 year old woman from Keokuk,Iowa, was struck and killed by a 75 year old driver from Kahoka, Missouri.
The Ford Escape was traveling east bound when it struck the woman in the roadway.
The SUV veered off the right side of the highway and sustained moderate damage.
The driver, who was wearing a seat belt was reported to have no injuries.
The pedestrain was pronouced deceased at the scene by Clark County Coroner Edwin Wilson at 4:00 pm.
The Clarke County Sheriffs Office and multiple members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted at the scene.
