Diane K. Paarman, 73, of Blakesburg, died at 4:20 a.m. January 23, 2025 at Ridgewood Specialty Care.
She was born November 28, 1951 in Batesville, AR to Les and Katie Bowers Paarman.
Growing up in Bloomfield, Diane earned a degree in nursing from Indian Hills Community College. She had worked as a pediatric nurse.
Diane loved her cats, loved being outdoors and traveling.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and her companion of 15 years, Dean Proctor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Sherry Foye and Darlene Theissen; and 3 brothers, Herb, Don and Dale Paarman.
Visitation will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, January 26th at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 27th at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Smith officiating. Burial will be in Point Isabelle Cemetery.
