The council discussed adding an additional handicap parking space at the Christian Church. They currently only have one designated space. The council approved the addition.
Laura Teno with Albia Chamber Main Street also addressed the council with an impact report. 2 million dollars has been put in towards improving the square and main street as well as 33 new jobs created. In addition, several new businesses have acquired new signage.
