The USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) reminds agricultural producers in Keokuk, Davis, and Wapello Counties to complete crop acreage reports by the deadline on December 15.
The deadline for fall seeded small grains is December 15. Producers can also report hay and pasture ground and CRP acreage for 2025. The deadline for these to be reported is July 15, 2025.
The USDA urges Keokuk, Davis, and Wapello County producers to call the FSA offices to make an appointment to complete these acreage reports. Late file fees per farm will be charged if reported past the deadline.
The following exception applies to acreage reporting dates: If the crop has not been planted by the acreage reporting date, the acreage must be reported no later than 15 calendar days after planting is completed.
Non-insured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP) policy holders should note that the acreage reporting date for NAP-covered crops is the earlier of the dates listed above or 15 calendar days before grazing or harvesting of the crop begins.
For questions or to make an appointment to report crops, please call the Keokuk County FSA office at 641-622-2800 ext 2. Call the Davis County FSA office at 641-664-2616. Contact the Wapello County FSA office at 641-684-6515.
