A new business in the Albia Townsquare celebrated a ribbon cutting Thursday afternoon.
Main St Frame, located at 4 Washington Avenue East, is a custom art and picture frame shop according to Becca Carter who operates the business along with her husband Brian. Additionally, Main St Frame does printing, custom framing, picture sales, and more.
“You name it. We frame it.”
Becca Carter says she and her husband have lived in Albia for 15 years and opened a frame shop off the square four years ago. With an opening in the townsquare available, the Carters jumped at the opportunity.
“We love everything Albia is doing in the downtown district and this was an opening that just came up as a great opportunity to kind of integrate ourselves in this community.”
Main Street Frame is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to noon.
