Bridge View Center’s popular Acoustic Fridays on the Riverfront series is back, bringing live music to the BVC outdoor riverside plaza. On Friday, October 18, from 5pm to 7:30pm, enjoy a free performance by Steve McLain.

Steve McLain, the frontman for the touring band Commotion: A Tribute to the Music of Creedence Clearwater Revival and Jefferson County Green Band, has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Blues Traveler, Big Brother and the Holding Company, and many more. His impressive career has included opening acts for national acts like Diamond Rio, Sammy Kershaw, John Anderson, Justin Moore, Great White, Lori Morgan, Kentucky Headhunters, The Bellamy Brothers, Aaron Tippin, and more!

Acoustic Fridays on the Riverfront is an outdoor concert series that showcases Southeast Iowa’s talented musicians. Held in the summer months, the series takes place on the outdoor riverfront plaza overlooking downtown Ottumwa and the Des Moines River. Tables and chairs are provided, but guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs for added comfort.

A variety of delicious food and beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, will be available for purchase. Please note that coolers and outside food and beverages are not permitted.
