An Ottumwa man allegedly started a fire in a BP dumpster.
27-year-old Alexander Wynn was charged with reckless use of fire, a serious misdemeanor.
On September 18, court records say Wynn climbed into a dumpster at BP on 1301 North Court Street. Authorities say Wynn lit cardboard boxes that were inside of it on fire.
Wynn was taken to the Wapello County Jail. He has a bond of $1,000 and his preliminary hearing was waived.
