Mahaska Health in Oskaloosa, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate EBF Softball Player Kate Shafer, our 92.7 KTWA Athlete of the Week!
The junior was named to the All-Tournament team at the Class 2A State Tournament in Fort Dodge. Shafer also earned Class 2A IGCA All-Southeast District first-team honors. For the season, Shafer batted .518 with an OPS (on-base plus slugging percentage) of 1.328.
Our KTWA Athlete of the Week program is made possible thanks to the generosity of Mahaska Health, plus the cooperation of our area schools. This is a great accomplishment and one to be very proud of.
