OTTUMWA (IHCC)- Indian Hills Community College invites the community to celebrate the grand opening of the newly renovated Performing Arts Center on the Ottumwa Main Campus. Join us on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 p.m., for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house event.
The Performing Arts Center, which encompasses the historic St. John Auditorium, has undergone a significant renovation, the first since its original construction in 1961. This state-of-the-art space now includes a dedicated band and choir classroom, an acting and film classroom, a make-up and dressing room, faculty and staff offices, and a Campus Welcome Center. These updates reflect Indian Hills’ commitment to providing exceptional facilities that support the educational experiences of our students.
The event will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by tours of the renovated spaces. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet faculty, explore the new classrooms and offices, and learn about the exciting programs that will take place in the Performing Arts Center.
