An Ottumwa man charged with felony after being accused of attempted burglary of a female occupied vehicle.
25-year-old Cyrus Moras was charged with 1st degree harassment and attempted 2nd degree burglary.
On the morning of May 17, court records say Moras approached a parked vehicle with a woman inside and began punching the exterior and jerking on the door handle in an attempt to enter. Moras continued to threaten the victim and she told police she felt harassed.
Moras was taken into custody and is located at the Wapello County Jail, with a bail bond set at $5,000. He plead not guilty and his preliminary hearing will take place on May 28.
