Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding an escapee from a southeast Iowa residential facility.
The Iowa Department of Corrections says 30-year-old Joshua Michael Bergen failed to report back to the Burlington Residential Facility on Monday.
Bergen was convicted of Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury, Willful Injury Causing Bodily Injury, and Burglary 3rd Degree in Louisa County, as well as Escape of Felon in Des Moines County, according to a press release.
Bergen is described as a 5’5″ white male weighing 169 pounds.
Anyone with knowledge of Bergen’s whereabouts is encouraged to call local law enforcement.
