Barbara Ann Ross Baughman of Pulaski, Iowa passed away on March 19, 2024 at her home. She was born on March 6, 1939 in Tama, Iowa to Lewis Robert and Catherine Virginia Carpenter Ross. She married William Christian Baughman on March 6, 1960 in Tama, Iowa and he survives her. Barbara was a member of the Pulaski Mennonite Church and served as church historian for many years.
Barbara was mother to Jennifer Ann (Patrick) Flood, Julie Ann (Kevin) Wiens, Lewis Robert (Jenae) Baughman, Leah Jolene Baughman, and Andrew Christian (Tessa) Baughman. She was grandma to 11 and great-grandma to seven, soon to be eight in August. She is also survived by two nieces, a nephew, and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Orien Ross.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Bloomfield South Cemetery with grandson Tanner Christian Wiens officiating. No visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee or the Mennonite Disaster Service.
