On February 17, the sheriff’s office said a Honda CR125 dirtbike was reported stolen from the yard of a residence on Old Main Street.

Two days later, an older model Green Polaris Ranger with homemade wooden doors was reported stolen from the yard of a residence on East Harrison Street in Milton.

On Tuesday, February 20, the sheriff’s office said the Polaris Ranger was recovered in Ottumwa. Lieutenant Jason Bell of the Ottumwa Police Department says the stolen vehicle was found at 7:30 AM on the 300 block of North Weller.

27-year-old Dallas Tapley of Ottumwa was arrested at the scene and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Wapello County Jail and later released.
