A southeast Iowa man faces multiple felonies after law enforcement says he broke into a home and attempted to break into another.
36-year-old Jonathan Bowers of Mount Pleasant was charged with second-degree burglary (Class C felony), attempted second-degree burglary (Class D felony), second-degree criminal mischief (Class D felony), and fifth-degree criminal mischief (simple misdemeanor).
According to authorities, two 911 calls were received on February 1 reporting a burglary. An investigation by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office determined Bowers attempted to enter one neighbor’s residence and forcibly entered another.
Bowers was arrested and transported to the Henry County Jail.
