Sharon Elaine Lentner, 75, of Ottumwa, died January 8, 2024 at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center.
She was born July 12, 1948 in Ottumwa to Vaughn and Helen Jobe Moore.
Sharon had worked at various resorts alongside her parents, for The Burlington Basket Company, Sears Photo and Hardees in Brookfield, MO.
Sharon was very social. She enjoyed reading her Bible, watching the news on television and telling “Alexa” what to watch, especially the Hallmark Channel. She loved visiting her family and doing crafts.
Surviving are her children, Lucretia (Robert) Lathrop and Wade (Nicole) Lentner both of Ottumwa; 3 grandchildren, Shannon (Seane) San, Jessica Knight and Blake Lentner; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Vaughn Moore of Burlington; and sister, Renee Hartley of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Paul Moore and Jerry Moore; and an infant sister, Patricia.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 19th at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Schlotter officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be one hour prior to the service.
