Winter Weather Advisory Issued for SE Iowa

Forecasters say ice and snow may be moving into southern and southeast Iowa.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory that will go into effect tonight at midnight and last until noon on Friday.

Forecasters anticipate rain, freezing rain, and snow. Ice is expected to go along with about two inches of snow. Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions which may affect the Friday morning commute.

The above conditions could occur in Appanoose, Davis, Marion, Mahaska, Monroe, and Wapello Counties.
