Mahaska Health in Oskaloosa, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate EBF Volleyball player Kate Shafer, our 92.7 KTWA Athlete of the Week!
The junior setter was an integral part of the Rockets’ second straight run to state. Shafer led the team with 495 assists and was second on the squad with 192 kills. Kate also joined her sister Molly on the Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-State Class 2A first team.
Our KTWA Athlete of the Week program is made possible thanks to the generosity of Mahaska Health, plus the cooperation of our area schools. This is a great accomplishment and one to be very proud of.
