The city of Ottumwa announced that workers will be spraying weeds on the trails this week.
Weather permitting, Public Works will be spraying weeds between the trails and the Des Moines River on both the north and south sides. These areas will be flagged as they are sprayed and citizens should avoid these areas. The trails will remain open at all times.
