Ottumwa Schools Begin P-EBT Card Distribution

The USDA recently started the distribution of P-EBT benefits and Ottumwa Community School District families will all benefit, according to the school district.

Ottumwa Schools is a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) district, where all students attending Ottumwa Schools eat both breakfast
and lunch at no cost. The only requirement to receive this latest P-EBT card distribution is that your K-12 student must have been enrolled and attended an Ottumwa school as of May 31, 2023. The card will be sent via U.S. postal mail to the qualifying student.

The benefit amount per child is $120.00 and can be used as you would a credit/debit card for groceries. This program is designed to assist families with the rising cost of food for their children.
