State Farm Agent Shawn McCarty, serving southeast Iowa from his office at 604 W Burlington in Fairfield, along with Ottumwa Radio Group would like to congratulate Davis County Softball Player Madeline Barker, our 104.3 KRKN Athlete of the Week!
Barker, a senior, wrapped up a stellar regular season last week that saw her compile a record of 20-2 in the circle with an ERA of 1.14 and 215 strikeouts. Barker also hit .434 with four home runs and 14 RBI.
Our KRKN Athlete of the Week feature is made possible thanks to the generosity of Shawn McCarty and State Farm Insurance, plus the cooperation of our area schools.
