Ottumwa- The weather service was correct in their prediction of severe storms in the area this morning. Ottumwa weathered through strong winds and heavy rains. While the rain is welcome, the damage caused by the winds wasn’t. Power was lost all over town, with some areas still without power at the time of the writing of this article. Damaged trees and wind blown items can be seen all over town.
