Joyce Ann Hannan, 84, of Ottumwa died at 11:12 p.m. April 21, 2023 at Vista Woods Care Center in Ottumwa.
She was born August 16, 1938 in Ottumwa to Richard and Wilda Conner Hull. She married Paul Hannan on February 20, 1958 and he preceded her in death on January 23, 1998.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School, Joyce enjoyed square dancing and was a member of B-Squares. She also enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving is a son, Mike (Joan) Hannan of Broomfield, CO; a daughter, Peggy (Lloyd) Eskew of Ottumwa; 4 grandchildren, Whitney Trainor, Jenna Hannan, Kalina Eskew and Janelle Eskew; 2 great grandchildren, Xavier and Felix; and a sister, Peg Bates of Drakesville.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 26th at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. James Preus officiating. The service will be livestreamed on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be in Sherman Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
