Lucinda “Cindy” Louise Hopwood, 69, of Ottumwa, died March 18, 2023 at her home.
She was born October 24, 1953 in Fort Wayne, IN to Delbert and Louise Wiegman Hormann.
Growing up in Davis County, she graduated from Cardinal High School. Cindy had worked for Rescare and Elliott Oil. She enjoyed bowling and making wedding cakes.
Surviving are three sons, Jerme Hopwood, Mark Hopwood (Sarah Overberg) and Brandon Kitchen; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and one on the way; three brothers, Donald, David and Darrell Hormann; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Wyatt Hopwood; a grandson, Dakota; three sisters, Liesa Cloke, LuAnn Roberts and Lorraine Hormann.
Her body has been cremated. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 24th at Reece Funeral Home. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page.
