Absentee Voting for General Election Begins


Absentee ballots for November’s General Election are now available at the Wapello County Auditor’s Office.

In-person absentee voting will begin on October 19th and end on November 7th.

Voters that want an absentee ballot mailed to them must submit a written absentee ballot request by October 24th by 5:00 PM to the Wapello County Auditor’s Office.

The deadline to return a voted absentee ballot is Election Day by 8:00 PM in the Wapello County Auditor’s Office. The offices stresses that postmarks do not count.

The Wapello County Auditor’s Office will be open on the following Saturday: November 5th from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
