Ronald E. Fosdyck, 81, of Ottumwa, died at 2 a.m. August 18, 2022 at Ridgewood Specialty Care.
He was born March 20, 1941 in Ottumwa to Clarence Eugene and LaVonna Best Fosdyck. Ronald married Karen Helmick on September 19, 1959 and she preceded him in death on October 7, 2015.
He and his wife lived in Fairfield for 20 years before moving back to Ottumwa in 1993. He had worked for Falco in Fairfield, retiring as a superintendent.
Surviving are his children, Ron Fosdyck Jr. of Ottumwa, Bill (Toni) Fosdyck and Ed Fosdyck (Stephanie), both of Eldon, Robin Fosdyck of Boones Mill, VA; 6 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; siblings, Jim Fosdyck of Garden Grove, CA, Connie Tipling of Ottumwa and Cindy Mae Jones of Rock Hill, SC.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Dale Fosdyck, Jack Fosdyck, two infant brothers and an infant sister.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 23rd, at Reece Funeral Home. For those unable to attend the service may be viewed on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation with family present to greet friends will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
