Warriors fall on the road to the Mustangs 11-3


The Van Buren County Warriors fell to the Davis County Mustangs 11-3

The Mustangs used a four-run first inning to propel them to an 11-3 win. In the first the Mustangs collected four hits and two Warrior errors, to go up 4-0 after one. The Mustangs would tally one run in the second to lead 5-0 after two. The Mustangs outscored the Warriors 6-2 the rest of the way. The scoring would be highlighted by a Caedyn Glosser two-run home run and then a Dawson Townsend two-run home run. The Warriors got RBIs from Roen, Sprouse, and Meeks.

The Mustangs got a great outing from Jasper Goodson in just his second start of the season. Goodson went a complete seven innings, with five strikeouts, three walks, five hits and giving up three runs

The Mustangs improved to 20-9, the Warriors fell to 10-14
