(Written by Tony Latcham) Pekin lost to Highland 11-1 last night with Jaedon Wolver taking the loss pitching 5 2/3 innings. Highland was propelled with two 3 run home runs in the 1st and 4th innings and never looked back. The Huskies collected runs in every inning other than the third. For Highland it was 3 in the first, 2 in the second, 4 in the fourth and one in both the fifth and sixth innings. The loss drops Pekin to 2-3 and the win elevates Highland to 6-1. Up next Pekin hosts Hillcrest Academy Friday night at 7 p.m.
