Marcella D. Manary, 95, of Ottumwa, died at 3:20 a.m. June 1, 2022 at her home.
She was born July 2, 1926 in Waukee to Lloyd Jasper and Laura Effie Post Given. Marcella married Tilford Stanley Manary on February 14, 1950 and together they had 5 children.
She was a 1944 graduate of Ottumwa High School. On May 15, 1955 she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a member of the Ottumwa Iowa Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Marcella recently celebrated her 67th Memorial with her husband. She worked for many years along side her husband remodeling homes and was an excellent bookkeeper. She loved her music and her cocker spaniels.
Surviving is her husband, Tilford; their children, Pamela (Walter) Tippett of Oskaloosa, Cheryl (Kevin) Drummond of Bloomfield, Kay Willey, Judy Ehret and Del Manary all of Ottumwa; 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dorothy Lewis and a brother, Guy Given.
Her body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday, June 10th at Reece Funeral Home with Elder Ray Natera officiating. For those unable to attend, the service may be viewed live on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page.
