Two Hospice Bereavement Groups to Resume Meeting


Hospice, Serving Davis and Wapello Counties announced two bereavement groups will resume meeting this month after suspending the groups due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Men’s Coffee Support Group” will meet at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, April 12th at Riverside Family Restaurant on 1317 Mary Street in Ottumwa. The group’s focus is men have experienced a loss, and provides a great place to meet other men who have experienced a similar loss. Meetings are every Tuesday morning.

“Walk and Talk Support Group” will start meeting weekly on Thursday, April 21st at 9:00 AM. The group is scheduled to gather at Quincy Place Mall outside of the old JC Penney location. After walking, the group will have a time of socializing and refreshment at the South Ottumwa Hy-Vee. This group is open to anyone who is grieving.
