A local chiropractor was arrested after Ottumwa police say he initiated physical contact with his patient that was deemed offensive.
Bruce Lindberg, 62, was charged with assault, a simple misdemeanor.
Court documents say on February 16th, Lindberg provided a chiropractic service to an individual at his office on Richmond avenue. After the service was completed, Lindberg hugged the victim and then kissed the victim on the top of the head.
A warrant for Lindberg’s arrest was issued on April 20 and he was taken into custody on April 25.
Lindberg is currently free after posting bond. Court records say Lindberg has entered a plea of not guilty.
