OSKALOOSA, IA – Mahaska Health in Oskaloosa, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, want to congratulate William Penn wrestler Cameron Hargrove, our 92.7 KTWA Athlete of the Week!
The freshman finished just shy of earning All-American status at the NAIA Wrestling Championships, finishing 2-2 overall with an upset win over the top-seed in the 149 weight class. Hargrove won his opening bout by fall at 1:53, then earned a Sudden Victory via takedown over the number-one seed to advance in the Championship bracket. Losing by fall in the quarterfinals, then by 15-4 Major Decision in the consolation bracket ended his run at Nationals.
