Last Day Hike – December 31

As 2018 nears the end, the Wapello County Conservation Board would like to offer one last opportunity to spend some time outdoors in the beauty of nature in winter. The Wapello CCB is offering a Last Day Hike December 31 at Garrison Rock Wildlife Area. The terrain of this area is rugged, and the trail conditions could be difficult depending on the weather. We will hike at an easy pace as we search for the best view of the river, where we are likely to see eagles. Maybe we will find an ice fall in the cave. The path of our journey will depend on trail conditions and the group. Dress for the weather, and join us for this Last Day Hike. No registration is necessary for this free hike.
